Duran Goodyear has over ten years experience in leading the development of web applications for both commercial and non-profit clients. In those ten years, Duran has developed a deep understanding and ability to apply the functional requirements for social and community focused websites that answer significant business goals. His understanding of the technology behind the scenes has given him the ability to bridge the gap between concept and execution, making it possible to bring to life his clients' wishes, while selecting the best technology for the job.
Duran's previous work includes 4 years as the Manager of Web Services at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he was responsible for all aspects of the internal, and external facing web applications, including the implementation, planning, and client support of these projects. While there, he was instrumental in the selection and deployment of the Universities LMS, and the establishment management and deployment guidelines that orchestrated the Universities centralization on Drupal as the content management and web application platform of choice for all University sponsored web projects.
Duran graduated from Hampshire College in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, after completing his thesis work in the business models of e-book publishing, and studies in rich media technologies.
